Mr Pillai told me that I would probably wish I had opted for surgery years ago. He was right. Having had the surgery which was amazingly quick and pain –free I feel a certain sense of liberation – I no longer feel vulnerable without spectacles. I am also still getting used to going out in the rain or drizzle and not worrying about my sight being impeded in anyway.

I chose AVC after speaking with my optician and researched online. From the initial contact with Stephanie Fuller I was reassured that I had made the right choice. Stephanie wa helpful. Informative without being pushy. The initial consultation was also reassuringly thorough along with the assistance of Pawel Marcinkowski who, during that consultation, made a point of insuring I understood every aspect of the procedure. By the time I met Mr Pillai I was confident I was in the right place to have elective eye surgery.
