Rebecca Klug describes her Refractive Lens Exchange treatment
Before the “Refractive Lens Exchange” treatment, Rebecca had been wearing prescription glasses since the age of eleven. As her eyesight was deteriorating, a friend of hers recommended refractive lens exchange and AVC for a vision correction treatment.
She wasn’t convinced on undergoing the procedure of refractive lens exchange after reading about it on the internet, though she changed her mind after speaking to her friend who described her successful surgery as life changing.
She was apprehensive of having the surgery done because she felt that she would loose her reading vision for which she did not require glasses. She is very pleased of having undergone the refractive lens procedure as her reading vision is perfect, she compared her reading vision to her husband who still requires glasses to read.
In her own words she says:
“refractive lens surgery makes her feel like being reborn, having a new life”.
On the day of the surgery she was nervous, she says that staff at AVC kept her informed and made sure that she was comfortable to undergo the surgery. She says that the procedure was very quick which giver her confidence to undergo the treatment for her other eye the second day.
