I had implantable contact lens treatment performed in August 2012 and my vision has been perfect ever since. From the first initial contact, everyone at Advanced Vision Care was prompt and friendly.

I initially came to Advanced Vision Care seeking advice on lasik eye surgery. After discussing my concerns (as a dry eye patient), the alternative treatment (ICL) was recommended to me. Having not heard of this option before, I had many questions. As a veterinary student, I know a thing or two about eye anatomy so I had very specific questions, such as problems associated with inserting foreign materials inside the eye. Pawel was extremely helpful in answering those questions and clearing any doubts I had. It was also very comforting to know that Dr. Goran Helgason had the same procedure done on himself.

I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t nervous on the day of the treatment, but everything went very smoothly. I felt comforted that I was informed in each step of the treatment so I always know what to expect.

My vision quickly recovered and continued to improve a month after the surgery. It is one of the most liberating things I’ve ever done for myself and I am so thankful for AVC’s excellent care. I would happily recommend them.
