Biography

I have been a qualified Optometrist for 11 years and value both the clinical and academic side of the profession. I have previously been involved in some clinical trials, as well as some retrospective data analysis for research purposes. I am been involved in the refractive surgery aspect of optometry for 7 years and enjoy being part of a constantly evolving and improving industry.
At AVC, as well as seeing patients in the clinic, I am responsible for training optometrists in the pre and post-operative assessment of patients, as well as providing continuing education for our partner optometrists, providing them with support and training. I have updated and created various documents for the clinic, including patient consent forms and optometrist training manuals and protocols. I myself regularly attend seminars and conferences in order to keep up to date with clinical and technological advances in the field of optometry.
